Donor Privacy Policy
The Center for Voter Information places an extremely high priority on protecting the personal information of its donors regardless of the amount of donation.
In the normal course of communicating with donors, we collect name, address, and similar contact information, as well as transaction-related information, and this is sometimes handled by consultants who assist us. This information is only used by CVI to maintain communication with our donors, process donations, and internally manage our donor programs.
We will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ names or other personal information with any unrelated entity, nor send solicitations to our donors on behalf of other organizations. Only to the extent required by law will any donor-identifying information be provided to a government agency. In every other respect, we will use every reasonable method available to assure the privacy of donor personal information.
This policy applies to all information received by the Center for Voter Information, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
